"Gov't to severely limit number of visitors to Hokkaido's Shiretoko-Goko nature area ..(literally meaning "Shiretoko five lakes") ...there will be a mandatory lesson on environmental protection and ways to defend oneself against dangerous animals for visitors...The new policy will be applied to the use of the walkway between May 10 and Oct. 20 every year."
