Yamaha Japan operating profit rose 17 times higher than forecast in first half of 2010

"The company said group operating profit soared to 35 billion yen in the January-June period, 17 times higher than its initial forecast. The growth was phenomenal, given that the firm was hit by an operating loss of 38.8 billion yen just a year earlier."
