"...The ministry announced that expressway tolls for passenger cars and motorcycles in regional areas would be halved and have a 1,000 yen ceiling on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays...The reduction is only available to drivers of vehicles equipped with the electronic toll collection (ETC) system...The reductions will begin in a limited capacity on March 28, before full implementation on April 29. They will continue until the end of March 2011. "
