Yamaha Japan's IM business contributed most in first half of 2010 earnings

"Its noncore operations also fueled profits. Among them, the Intelligent Machinery (IM) business, which manufactures industrial robots, was the largest contributor. Its sales of 15.2 billion yen accounted for only 2% of the group total of 676.2 billion yen but generated 3.1 billion yen in operating profit."
